Entertainment industry honores Drakensang
On June 23rd 2009 the Radon Labs' role-playing game Drakensang: The Dark Eye received one of the prestigious LARA Award 2009. The more than 500 guests from film, TV, music and games industry witnessed the third annual LARA ceremony, in which outstanding titles and people of the games industry are honored.
Radon Labs received the LARA TEEN Award - the category for games with an age rating of 12+. The jury emphasized in their decision the balance of the game. On one hand, Drakensang is easy to use for newcomers, while on the other hand offering a wide range of possibilities for experts.
The jury decided: "Drakensang is exemplary in the way it draws the player into the fictitious world on the gigantic continent Aventuria with its interesting and memorable inhabitants - elves, dwarves, lizard men and of course dragons."
And the winner is...
On March 30th, 2009 the best of Germany's computer games were awarded with the first ever "German Computer Games Award." The big winner of the evening was Radon Labs, who recieved two awards for the role-playing game Drakensang. The jury rewarded the games diversity, high production value and replayability with the "Best Youth Game of the Year" and the prestigious "Best Game of the Year."

Drakensang in Gold
The Trade Association of Interactive Entertainment Software (BIU) awarded its Sales Award in Gold to Radon Labs. The Berlin-based developer received the award for the roleplaying game Drakensang. With cummulative sales of over 100,000 units on a single plattform Drakensang is one of the most successful computer games made in Germany in 2008.
